On Sunday, Kenyans were exposed to details of how the fight against the novel coronavirus was turned into a business by cartels under the watch of the high and mighty scavengers in the country.

As expected, there was a lot of momentum as angry Kenyans demanded accountability in the use of billions of shillings allocated for Covid-19 interventions, however, a day later and everything is back to normal.

Politics now reign as Senators vs the deep state over the revenue sharing formula capture everyone's attention. “They are now diverting the attention of Kenyans from the theft of Covid-19 funds to the politics of 2022. But what we are saying is, let the government make full disclosure on how the funds were used before soliciting the same from donors,” Former Senator Johnstone Muthama says. It's no secret Kenyans are reaping what they sow, we participated in giving thieves power by overwhelmingly voting for this regime, despite having a demonstrated track record of high scale corruption in it’s first term.
