Court Detains Ivy Wangechi's Murderer Pending Investigations

The High Court in Eldoret has detained Naftali Kinuthia, the man facing charges of murdering medi

cal student Ivy Wangechi  for 14 more days to allow police record witness statements.

The murder suspect appeared on Monday b

efore Eldoret Senior Resident Magistrate Nicodemus Moseti.

Magistrate Moseti was sitting in for High Court judges on recess.

Mr. Kinuthia who was discharged from the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) on Friday evening, wqs helfd at an undisclosed location in the weekend.

Mr Kinuthia, brutally attacked Ms Wangechi last Tuesday morning killing her in front of the hospital.

He will be held at the Naiberi Police Station pending completion of the police investigations.
