Story · Contract Staff Accuse Safaricom Of Neglect

Paul Kasimu, Safaricom's Chief Human Resources Officer

Rogue Safaricom Plc. is not a great company in terms of treating this society humanely.

Safaricom has hounded me for long for things that they themselves have not been able to deny.

From the outside, Safaricom seems like a great employer, but the systems in place are just like in any other corrupt organisation; much like the government of Kenya

Here below information received via inbox, a contract staff is complaining that they have been sidelined

Hi Nyakundi,

Safaricom contract staff are treated as if the company is doing them a favor. They have been on contract since 2016, when confirmation comes, the management goes against the ethics and employ ‘their’people

Currently we have been asking when we shall be confirmed, they brush it off, saying ‘Safaricom is the best employee ever’.

It isn't a favorable company anymore; contract staff are giving up and not motivated at all.

Please expose this. They need to confirm the contract guys.

We are really suffering
