Clarification: Likoni Bodies Have Not Been Found - Govt Spokesman

Earlier the local media which depends on the information received from the government misinformed Kenyans that the bodies of Mariam Kighenda and her four-year-old daughter, Amanda Mutheu who died after their car plunged into the Indian Ocean has been found.

According to the government spokesman retired Colonel Cyrus Oguna, a vehicle has been spotted and it is 90% sure that the car must belong to Mariam.
A local media reported that lifting bags were lowered at around 2 pm and something retrieved from the water and taken away.
The government spokesman however maintained that bodies have not yet been retrieved and assured Kenyans that checks to ascertain if the car belongs to Mariam were ongoing. More to follow
