[ad_1] Bishop Philip Njoroge has been charged with 12 counts linked to forgery of land ownership documents.

Njoroge from the Jesus Exaltation Center in Subukia appeared before a Nakuru court on Wednesday and denied the charges.

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) had arrested him on Tuesday evening.

It is alleged that he forged important documents that led to a court order barring one Francis Njoroge and his family from accessing their 4-acre piece of land in Subukia back in 2016.

Chief Magistrate Josphat Kalo ruled that the accused be released on bond of Ksh. 200,000 or a cash bail of Ksh. 100,000
