Besieged Appeal Judge Professor Otieno Odek To Surrender

Besieged court of appeal Judge Professor Otieno Odek is set to surrender to the Directorate of criminal investigations headquarters in what may bring to an end a long search for him that has seen detectives camp at his homes hoping to pounce on him.

The appeal Judge has gone underground with all his phone numbers switched off. The Judge could not be traced to any of his known homes.

Detectives camped even at his rural home but he could not be seen anywhere.

A source at the DCI confirmed that after engaging the Judiciary, it has been agreed that Odek surrenders to avoid embarrassing arrest like that of deputy CJ Philomena Mwilu
