The Embakasi East Member of National Assembly Babu Owino has announced that he has agreed with the Ministry of educaction to construct a Secondary School in his Constituency.

The school whose name the legislator said would be Handshake Secondary School, will be constructed in the same compound as Donholm Primary School. Babu Owino and his Starehe Counterpart Charles Njagua

Here is what the letter addressed to the Manager National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) said about the project: - Construction of a Secondary School At Donholm Primary School We are pleased to inform you that the Ministry has no objection to the construction of a Secondary School in the above institution.

Embakasi Sub County is the most disadvantaged in terms of transition from primary to secondary school at (9.24%) due to unavailability of adequate secondary schools in the area. Babu Owino and Raila Odinga

In consultation with the school board, it has been agreed that the project should proceed with due diligence given to all necessary regulatory requirements and clearance.

The projects implementation and management committee should include representation from the board and Education office.
