Anne Waiguru Drops Case Against Raila Odinga After Private Meeting Between The Two

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru on Wednesday afternoon announced that she and Raila Odinga had settled their pending matter in court after a meeting took place. Through her Twitter bandle, Waiguru said “Just had a meeting with former Prime Minister H.E Right Honorable Raila Odinga on the outstanding matter in court.
In the spirit of cohesion and reconciliation in the country, the matter stands settled.”
She also added that Mr Odinga had pledged his support on matters devolution going forward.
Waiguru had sued Raila Odinga for defamation after he linked her to the NYS scandal back in 2015.
