Alliance Girls High School faulted over extortionist tactics

Parents of Alliance Girls High School want the Ministry of Education to come to their aid over the admin’s illegal school fees increament.

“Despite information from the Ministry of Education that school fees for 2021/2022 academic year had been reduced due to shortened terms Alliance Girls High School has still gone ahead to increase school fees”, a parent complained

She added, “The same was the case last year”.

The source says that attempts to get clarification from the school have been futile. And she believes that no approval for the increment from the ministry of education has been shared with parents.

“Either Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha is a toothless dog or he was lying to us that school fees have been reduced”, the angry parent added.

She intimated that the school pretends to have approval from the Ministry, yet they don’t.

“If they had the approval to increase the fees then they should be comfortable sharing it with parents”, she says.

Cnyakundi.com however learnt that the management of the shared messages showing Parent Teachers Association (PTA) resolution supporting an increase of Sh10,000 and an unverified MoE approval of Sh8,000 for infrastructure fees.
