Alert: Scandal of fake death certificate-for-citizenship in Garissa

Cnyakundi.com has received information that doctors and police officers in Garissa County are engaging in a scheme to give illegal aliens from Somalia, Kenyan citizenship.

It is alleged that police officers and doctors are bribed to produce fake death certificates which are used for duping the government into Issuing ID cards to non Kenyans.

According to the source, those same doctors also make fake injury reports upon bribery which is then used to torment people's lives.

However, the real issue is that Somalis fleeing from Somalia and Ethiopia use this method to dupe authorities into issuing Kenyan IDs.

They make a death certificate for either parent then bribe an elderly person to act as the living parent to ease the process of getting ID cards

The death certificates are sold for about Sh10,000 at major hospitals in Garissa County.
