Story · Airtel Kenya shuts down Zuku's salesforce

Zuku's Logo

Times are hard for companies even as Uhuru Kenyatta looks to sell his agenda for staying in power beyond the 2 term limit.

Take Two Communications, a firm contracted by Zuku to do its marketing is accused of non-payment of money owed to Airtel Kenya.

"A while back you exposed a company under the name Take 2 Communications working under ZUKU fibre on sales agents pays. This time now all sales agents' airtel lines have been blocked by airtel due to debts by the company on agents airtime plan', complained a staff member.

Details are sketchy but the said firm seems to not have a physical office.

Its sales agents are struggling to make ends meet. One wonders how Wananchi Group, the owners of Zuku came to sign a contract with such a firm.

"One cannot make even personal calls and all agents have to wait for them to sort their arrears. I can confirm Take 2 Communications has no physical address/office as of now. Any agent can confirm this but are all scared of losing their jobs. I wish you put this in public probably it will get attention from Wananchi group.... Thank You', the source said.
