On April 19, 2020, NCBA Bank made a significant contribution to the fight against COVID-19 by committing Ksh100 million to the government's Emergency Response Fund.
The bank's donation will go towards providing humanitarian support to vulnerable members of Kenyan society, as well as critical non-pharmaceutical supplies such as face masks.
According to Group Managing Director John Gachora, the bank's contribution is aimed at protecting and safeguarding people's lives in the community.
NCBA Bank is also working closely with small and micro-enterprises, particularly its customers, to support the production and distribution of critical inputs in containing the spread of COVID-19.
The bank's efforts are part of a broader initiative to support individuals, businesses, and the economy during the crisis and facilitate a rapid and sustained recovery.
