Published on April 13, 2020, Natalie Tewa, a popular influencer and YouTuber, recently faced backlash from her fans after posting a video with a clickbait headline claiming she was engaged.
However, in her latest content, Tewa revealed that she had simply bought the engagement ring for herself, stating 'Sorry guys, it was click bait, I’m not actually engaged.'
Despite the controversy, Tewa has something in common with Diamond Platnumz, a Tanzanian musician known for his relationships with women from across East Africa.
Diamond Platnumz has dated several high-profile women, including Tanzania's Wema Sepetu, Uganda's Zari, and Kenya's Tanasha Donna. He was also linked to Rwanda's Shaggy Boo.
Similarly, Tewa revealed that she has dated people from across the continent, including a Nigerian, a Rwandan, a Ugandan, and a Kenyan. When asked about her dating preferences, she stated, 'I don’t discriminate. It depends if we vibe.'
However, Tewa denied dating her photographer, Muchai, stating 'We are not dating. I know some of you would love that we date, but I’m not here for that kind of pressure.'
Before the engagement ring scandal, Tewa made headlines last year after a public break-up with her ex, Rnaze.
