On Wednesday evening, a devastating accident took place on the Kehancha-Kegonga road in Migori, claiming the life of one person and leaving two others seriously injured.
The accident involved a lorry and a motorcycle, both traveling in the same direction when the incident occurred.
According to Area Police Commander Joseph Nthenge, the deceased, Marwa Sinda, had jumped from the motorcycle and was run over by a lorry, resulting in his instant death.
The two injured individuals, Samwel Miniko and Esther Boke, were rushed to Migori Level Four Hospital for treatment.
