On Wednesday, President Uhuru Kenyatta met with Jubilee Party candidate Macdonald Mariga at State House in Nairobi, accompanied by Secretary General Raphael Tuju.
The President expressed his full backing for Mariga's bid to capture the Kibra seat, wishing him success in the contest.
Also present were National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale and Jubilee Party Chief Whip Benjamin Washiali, among others.
