Renowned gospel singer Jimmy Gait has sparked speculation about his future in the music industry, suggesting that he may retire as early as next month.

During an interview with Kiss 100, Gait announced that he is set to release one last song, sparking rumors about his potential retirement from music.

When asked if he was officially retiring, Gait remained non-committal, saying, “Let’s wait and see.”

He attributed his decision to retire to a desire to “turn a new leaf.”

On October 1, 2019, Gait will release the song, which he described as a “happy song.”

Before announcing his retirement plans, Gait had traveled to India, where he was diagnosed with a medical condition that had been misdiagnosed by Kenyan doctors.

He claimed that Kenyan doctors had quoted him “huge figures” for treatment, leading him to seek further medical attention in India.

Fortunately, Gait was able to receive the necessary treatment and has since recovered, crediting God for his recovery and ability to continue singing.
