On Tuesday, Dr. Sandra Lee, MD, aka Dr. Pimple Popper, published a procedure that initially featured a 'mystery cyst' on a patient's cheek. In a follow-up video, she reveals the identity of the growth.
Using her trusty punch tool and a pair of surgical scissors, Dr. Lee removes the cyst from the patient's cheek, taking care to remove the cyst's sac to prevent regrowth. The patient remains calm throughout the procedure, even joking about becoming YouTube famous.
Dr. Lee assures the patient that he can obtain a copy of the video, but warns him not to share it before the official release. The video is part of Dr. Pimple Popper's upcoming season 3 on TLC, set to return later this year.
