Published on September 18, 2019, a disturbing case unfolded in a Makueni court where a 10-year-old boy narrated how he was lured into a lodging and forced to perform oral sex.
The boy, who was on his way to meet his mother at Itangini market, was approached by Alexander Mutua, a man he knew, who promised to buy him a soccer ball.
However, Mutua's intentions were far from innocent, and he led the boy to a nearby lodging where he forced him to perform oral sex.
‘‘I knew the accused and when we met, he held my hand and took me to the lodging where he removed his clothes and asked me to have oral sex with him,’’ the boy recounted in court.
Fortunately, Michael Mwaluka, an employee at the lodging, intervened after he peeped through the window and heard the commotion.
‘‘Mwaluka peeped through the window to find out what was happening. When the accused realized that he had been caught, he panicked and immediately left the room,’’ the boy narrated.
The boy's mother was informed of the incident, and she accompanied him back to the lodging to look for Mutua, but he had fled.
Alexander Mutua has denied the charges of performing an indecent act against the minor on June 25, 2019, at Itangini market.
