David Mugo Njuguna, a 33-year-old gospel musician, was born with deformities that made it challenging for him to fit in the 'normal' world. Despite these limitations, he has not let his disability hinder his entrepreneurial spirit.

After struggling to make a living through gospel music, Njuguna met someone who appreciated his efforts and provided him with capital to start a clothes business. He has been running this business for a couple of months now, while still recording gospel music.

However, both of these hustles come with their own set of challenges. Njuguna faces difficulties in raising funds to produce an album, and he also doesn't get as many invites to perform as able-bodied artistes. In his clothes business, he doesn't receive any special favors from county authorities and relies on others to pack and unpack his clothes.

Despite these challenges, Njuguna remains optimistic and has learned to adapt to his circumstances. He earns an average of Sh700 on a good day from his clothes business, although there are days when he closes the shop without registering a single sale.
