Kenya Private Detective Jane Mugo Charged With Threatening to Kill

On August 15, 2019, in Muthaiga, Nairobi, private investigator Jane Mugo allegedly drew a pistol and threatened to kill two people, Patrick Mugusia Kefa and Deepa Shah.

Ms Mugo appeared in court on Wednesday morning, where she denied the charges before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi.

She was represented by lawyers Danstan Omari and Cliff Ombeta.

Ms Mugo was released on a Sh200,000 cash bail and a Sh200,000 bond with one surety, or Sh100,000 cash bail, for the two separate counts.

The case will be heard on October 15 and 16, 2019, respectively.
