On September 18, 2019, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko revealed at Ken Okoth's memorial service in Moi Girls that Okoth had a son with a woman from his Sonko Rescue team, Anne Muthoni, who they met during a medical camp in Kibra in 2013.
However, in a surprising turn of events, Monica Okoth, the wife of late Kibra MP Ken Okoth, has disputed the DNA results presented in court by Anne Muthoni, claiming they are different from her own son's DNA.
Anne Muthoni, who has sided with Jubilee's Mariga in the Kibra seat against her brother-in-law Imran Okoth, insists that Okoth was the father, despite the controversy surrounding Sonko's revelation that he was the matchmaker.
The case is set to be mentioned in court on October 2.
