Published on September 18, 2019, Shiro Wa GP, a renowned gospel musician, has spoken out on the issue of celebrity marriages.
Wa GP, who has been married to Antony Thuo for about 14 years, emphasized that celebrity marriages are not perfect and are just like any other marriage.
She noted that celebrity marriages are often the target of criticism, with people assuming that they are the only ones with problems.
“Celebrity marriages are always the target, and people think they are the only ones with problems, but problems are everywhere in any marriage,” she said in a TV interview.
Wa GP attributed most celebrity divorces to having partners who don’t understand their spouses.
She also shared her own experiences, stating that she almost gave up on her marriage when she could not conceive for nearly a decade.
“I almost gave up but God came after nine years. It was not easy being called barren,” Shiro said.
Wa GP is currently promoting her new song ‘Thakame ya Jesu’ (Blood of Jesus) and runs Finetune School of Music in Kiambu.
