On September 17, 2019, parents of eight pupils from Karuri Primary School in Kiambu County received devastating news: their children had been victims of a pedophile.
The children, all Grade Two pupils, claimed that the man identified as Francis Kang'ethe, also known as Wagachie, lured them to his house with goodies and committed the unthinkable.
Area OCPD Ngare Riko promised swift investigations and the arrest of the suspect, who would face the full force of the law.
The incident occurred just a day after a man was arrested in Githunguri area of Kiambu County for defiling three girls aged 10.
