On Dancing with the Stars, Hannah Brown and her partner Alan Bersten scored second-highest with their cha-cha routine, behind James Van Der Beek. Following her DWTS debut, Hannah B. posted a no-makeup selfie showing her trying to untangle her dance-proof hairstyle.

"Knocking on heaven's door with this hair, but the angels are scared and won't open," she captioned the funny snap. The post has sparked a conversation about her skincare journey, which she has been open about in the past.

As reported in Women's Health in 2018, Hannah Brown's acne worsened when she turned 23. "I started getting these little bumps everywhere," she said. "I thought I must have used the wrong makeup, or it was from stress, or my period. But it never went away."

During her time on The Bachelor, Hannah revealed that she went on Accutane, a vitamin A-derived medication that helps control skin's oil glands and reduces acne-causing bacteria. While on the show, her skin was in the "purging" phase of the medication, a.k.a. when skin gets worse before it gets better.

However, after completing her treatment, Hannah's skin began to clear up, and she would often go without makeup. "My skin being better gave me the boost I needed to say yes to being The Bachelorette, and I was so excited for people to see my skin because I was so proud of it," she said.

Now, if she has a flare-up, she uses Kate Somerville EradiKate Acne Treatment to "dry it out and call it a day." Clearly, Hannah's skincare routine is working for her.
