Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has successfully undergone spine surgery at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi, marking another milestone in her health journey.
Passaris, who has been dealing with back pain for over 20 years, announced on Monday that she was set to undergo a Medial Branch Block procedure to address the issue.
"Thank God my operation went well. I had my first pain-free night in over two months. Thank you all for having my back, for your prayers and for wishing me well," Passaris said in a tweet on Tuesday.
She divulged that she will begin her physiotherapy on Tuesday to get fit following the surgical procedure.
Passaris' health journey has been marred by several health issues, including a thyroidectomy surgery she underwent earlier this year to remove goiter, which she had lived with for 10 years.
