12 types of Kenyan women on social media

Are you a social media user in Kenya? Do you know the different types of women you'll find online? From taggers to conwomen, we've identified 12 distinct categories of Kenyan women on social media.

According to a 2019 article, these categories include:

  • Taggers: These are the idlers who always tag you in posts and take screenshots just in case a post is pulled down.
  • Fisilets: They thirst over hot men and tag you in photos of celebrities like William Levy and Idris Elba.
  • Socialites/Slay Queens: They're the superstars who show off designer bags and clothes, but behind closed doors, they're struggling to make ends meet.
  • Hookers: Their work is to pimp women and hook them up with rich men, hiding behind funny pages and hashtags.
  • Stalkers: These are the ones who stalk people on social media and take their pics without permission and use them elsewhere.
  • Wife Material: From dressing modestly to sharing photos of food she has prepared, this is the type who will get a husband easily.
  • Looking for Men: They're only on Instagram to search for men, often sending 'hi' messages to celebrities or men they crush on.
  • Rumormongers: They can destroy you in a second, starting rumors without confirming the truth and trending them for days.
  • Trolls for Hire: They refer to themselves as #TeamA, #TeamX, and so on, supporting their favorite celebrity and trolling anyone who disagrees.
  • The Clueless: They're always late in everything, jumping on trends very late when people are least interested.
  • Motivational Speakers: From sharing Bible quotes to inspirational quotes, these women can make you give your life to Christ if you aren't saved.
  • Conwomen: They'll pretend to be selling stuff and dupe you once you pay, or start a kitty to help someone or a bereaved family but go missing once they collect the money.

So, which type of woman are you on social media?
