Comedian Terence Mwangi, known as Kamami, is in shock after receiving devastating news from a client whose husband had passed away before their wedding.

The groom, James, was set to tie the knot with his wife, Wairimu, in November, with Kamami scheduled to emcee the event.

However, in a heartbreaking turn of events, the groom's life was cut short, leaving behind a grieving widow and a community in mourning.

Wairimu reached out to Kamami, sharing the sad news and expressing her gratitude for his willingness to participate in the wedding.

Her message read: 'Hello Terrence, I am glad you had agreed to grace my wedding. But my husband died. We will bury him tomorrow.'

Moved by the news, Kamami took to social media to share his condolences and announced that he would be emceeing the funeral for free.

'This is the most painful message I woke up to, I was to MC her wedding in November 15. It is such a sad story. May God give them strength and I have decided that I will emcee the funeral for free. Please help me console this great fan of mine. May God give you strength I love you guys and may James rest in perfect peace,' he wrote.

The outpouring of support from Kamami's fans was swift and heartfelt, with many offering their condolences and words of comfort to the grieving widow and her family.
