On September 16, 2019, two brothers, Bernard Mwendwa Mulee and Nahashon Mutua Mulee, were charged with the Sh74.4m Standard Chartered Bank Kenya heist, alongside Benson Makokha Siwaka.
The case, which involves 15 suspects, including three Administration Police officers, is ongoing at the Milimani Law Court in Nairobi.
According to the charges, the three suspects denied three counts against them and were released on bond of Sh1 million with two sureties of similar amounts.
State prosecutor Angela Fukacha informed the court that the case against the three would be consolidated with another where three police officers have been charged over the heist.
Ms Fukacha requested the court to fix the case for mention on September 24 for consolidation with another against six suspects who have been admitted to a bond of Sh1 million and two sureties of a similar amount.
The magistrate, Francis Andayi, ordered the case to be mentioned on September 24 and released the suspects on bond.
The accused are charged with violently robbing G4S staff of Sh74,483,000 at Nairobi West Shopping Centre in Lang’ata sub-county while armed with dangerous weapons.
