Former Gor Mahia forward Dennis Oliech has made a surprise U-turn in his contract dispute with the Kenyan champions, offering to resolve the issue out of court.
Just days after serving a seven-day demand notice, Oliech told Nairobi News that he is willing to listen to Gor Mahia's concerns and reach an agreement.
"If Gor Mahia wishes to listen to me, I'm ready to consult with my lawyer and my agent to resolve this issue before it gets to the sports tribunal," Oliech said.
However, it remains to be seen whether Gor Mahia will accept Oliech's olive branch, with CEO Lordvick Aduda refusing to comment on the matter.
Despite the uncertainty, Oliech has also expressed his willingness to listen to offers from other Kenyan Premier League clubs, citing his full recovery from a hand injury.
