On Sunday, a shocking video uploaded by a pupil at Consolata School in Nairobi left many Kenyans stunned. The video, posted on the boy's Instagram account, captured him hurling obscenities at a classmate he claimed had spread rumors about him being gay.

The class four pupil went on to issue threats to the said schoolmate, whom he referred to as Nikita. However, he later pulled down the controversial videos and put up an apology video.

"I know it wasn't right for me to use the vulgar language and for that, I apologize. On my part, I know I overreacted and for that I'm sorry," he said in the apology video.

Since the incident, Nikita's father has reached out to Consolata School and spoken to his daughter. He also revealed that other parents from the school have contacted him about the boy's behavior, citing their children being bullied by him.

Many netizens advised the parents to take the boy through counseling, saying he needed help and was struggling with more than meets the eye.

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko weighed in on the issue, saying the boy needed love, guidance, and counseling. He also shared his own experience of being sent to an approved school at a young age.
