On a Sunday morning in Nairobi's Eastlands, a man named Omolo found himself in a predicament. He had been trying to get a date with a woman he met on Facebook, but to no avail. Desperate to make a good impression, he borrowed his brother's best suit and shoes.
Little did Omolo know, his brother had just returned from a two-week trip and was not pleased to see his Sunday best being worn by his sibling. The scene unfolded at a local supermarket, where Omolo's brother had gone to buy some household items.
"Omolo, what is this? This is my Sunday best buana! I rarely use this suit because it's only for special occasions. How dare you use it to roam around the estate," yelled the visibly older brother, causing a scene.
Omolo's attempt to calm his brother down fell on deaf ears, and the situation quickly escalated. The older brother roughed up Omolo, demanding respect and even knuckle-knocked him on the head.
The drama was eventually terminated by supermarket attendants and security guards, who dispersed the onlookers who had blocked the main entrance.
It turned out that the two brothers are neighbours, and Omolo had taken advantage of his brother's absence to dominate his house, including wearing his clothes.
