Mhasibu SACCO: A Thriving Kenyan Financial Institution ¶
Established in 1986, Mhasibu SACCO has grown from humble beginnings to become a tier one institution in Kenya. With assets worth at least Ksh.5 billion, the SACCO has over 18,000 members and more than 30 employees.
As of 2019, Mhasibu SACCO's headquarters are located at No. 68 Barclays Plaza, 8th Floor, Market Street, Next to Laico Regency Hotel, P.O BOX 31925-00600. The SACCO can be reached through various means, including email at [email protected] and Twitter at @mhasibuofficial.
The SACCO has two branches in Kisumu and Mombasa. The Kisumu branch is located at Pioneer House, 2nd Floor, along Odinga Oginga Street, with a telephone number of 0775950870. The Mombasa branch is located at Rex House, 3rd Floor, Suite 10A, Moi Avenue, with a telephone number of 0771645923.
Mhasibu SACCO fully supports Mpesa payment through their PayBill number, 540700. To make a payment, follow these steps: open the Mpesa menu and select the Lipa na Mpesa option, select PayBill, and under business number, key in '540700', for the account number, enter your membership number plus the transaction code, input your Mpesa PIN and send by clicking OK.
The SACCO offers various accounts, including Child Scheme, Deposit, Insurance premiums, Mhasibu SACCO shares transactions, and Preloading your Mhasibu M-Sacco Utility Account. To repay various Mhasibu SACCO loans, add the corresponding code to the end of your membership number, for example, Emergency loan - Add 'EML', Gold loan - Add 'GOL', and so on.
For convenience, the SACCO offers a mobile app that provides all the services provided by the company. Once registered, you can log in to your Mhasibu SACCO member account with your username and password on the website or app.
