On September 16, 2019, Yuvraj Rajput and Sahib Omar sealed their KCB Kenya National Autocross Championship titles following impressive performances at the penultimate round of the KCB Bank-sponsored series.

The two drivers had effectively secured their titles by the time the penultimate round concluded at the new Kasarani racetrack.

Yuvraj, who swept the competition in the Bambino Class, savored back-to-back titles after restricting his teammate Tsevi Soni to second place.

"It feels really good to seal it at the penultimate stage. The track was really loose today, but I soldiered on through to the last heat," Yuvraj said.

Yuvraj's dominance was evident throughout the event, where he was fastest in early practice, beating Tsevi by 5.10 seconds. He then went on to win the second heat by 17 seconds and the third heat by 5 seconds.

The 4WD tussle between Eric Bengi and Sahib Omar was another highlight of the event, with Sahib breaking his gearlever in practice but managing to repair it in time for the first heat. Bengi eventually won the second heat, beating Sahib by a narrow margin.

Speaking during the Prize-Giving ceremony, KCB Bank Kenya Branch Manager Kasarani, Mr. Anthony Murigi, reaffirmed the Bank's commitment to supporting autocross.

"It has been a great outing here at Kasarani Track, drivers demonstrated the spirit of sportsmanship overcoming the heat and dust to entertain the spectators," Mr. Murigi said. Adding that "The Bank's commitment is to open stage for everyone to participate in sports and enable them to reach his or her full potential."
