On Friday evening, a policewoman stationed at Parliament police station was found dead in her house at Umoja. The incident raised suspicions as Constable Hellen Kwamboka had failed to report to work that day and her phone was off.

Police investigation revealed that Hellen's house was locked from the inside, which led them to break it down and discover blood stains all over the house and her body lying on the bed.

According to the police report, Hellen's boyfriend had visited her on Thursday and may have been involved in her murder. The police are still investigating the matter further.

Police have launched a manhunt for Hellen's boyfriend, who is still at large. The investigation is ongoing.

On September 16, 2019, police found Hellen's body with marks on her neck, indicating that she may have been strangled before being hit on the head, leaving her with a deep cut.
