Deputy President William Ruto has sent a stern warning to his 2022 opponents, urging them to wait until election time to engage him in politics.

Speaking in Kwale County during the launch of the Lunga Lunga Technical Training Institute, Ruto emphasized that his current focus is on development and improving the lives of Kenyans, not politics.

"I am not doing politics, I am doing my job as Deputy President," Ruto said, adding that his opponents should wait until the 2022 elections to engage him.

He also dismissed claims that his tours around the country are political, saying that he is focused on development and improving the lives of Kenyans.

"I am not doing politics, I am doing my job as Deputy President," Ruto reiterated.

He also warned his opponents that they will face him when the time comes, saying that he is currently focused on his duties as Deputy President.

"When the time comes, we will meet face to face," Ruto said.
