On September 15, 2019, Norman Magaya, the Chief Executive Officer of NASA, was airlifted to India for specialized treatment.

Magaya, who has been hospitalized several times since suffering a heart attack earlier this year, will undergo treatment in India for the next 12 to 15 days.

According to a statement from ODM, Magaya's party, 'Our brother Mr. Norman Magaya has left the country to seek specialized treatment. We wish him well and expect him to return in 12 to 15 days. He will be under the care of a team of specialized doctors during this time.'

ODM has assured Kenyans that they will stand by Magaya until he returns.

Magaya's airlift to India comes as a surprise to many, with some questioning the decision to seek treatment abroad.
