On September 14, 2019, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced a new fuel price review, which brought both relief and hardship to consumers.
While kerosene prices dropped by Sh3.31 per litre, super petrol and diesel prices increased by Sh0.28 and Sh2.44 per litre respectively.
As of midnight, a litre of Super petrol in Nairobi will retail at Sh112.81, diesel at Sh103.04, and kerosene at Sh100.64.
Just last month, the prices of super petrol and diesel had reduced by Sh2.86 and Sh3.28 per litre respectively, while kerosene prices had increased by Sh1.98 per litre.
