Kenyan singer and songwriter Bahati has been in the spotlight recently for his philanthropic efforts, particularly in adopting children in need. One of these children is Morgan, who has been attending Upper Hill Junior Academy.

However, a recent episode of Bahati's reality show revealed that Morgan's school uniform is in a poor state, sparking controversy among fans and critics alike.

Bahati addressed the issue on The Trend with Anto Neosoul, explaining that he has been working hard to provide the best life for his family, including Morgan.

'I took Morgan when he was very young. I have stayed with him for over six years. He is still struggling to get papers. Even a school cannot take him without a birth certificate,' Bahati said.

He added that people often fail to consider the reasons behind his decision to send Morgan to Upper Hill Junior Academy, instead of a more expensive school like Brookhouse.

'If it's not that, I'd have taken him to Brookhouse. God can provide but can they take him without a birth certificate?' Bahati asked.

Despite the controversy surrounding Morgan's schooling, Bahati has expressed his love and appreciation for his adopted son, saying that he is his favourite child.

'With all the kids, my favourite remains to be Morgan. Every time I look at him, he reminds me of a lot of things, I push him to be the best person he can be. That's my best son,' Bahati said.
