On September 14, 2019, a controversy erupted in the music industry when Willy Paul accused Rayvanny of stealing lyrics from his unreleased song Chuchuma.

Willy Paul also accused Rayvanny of being a thief and a liar, saying "Someone is stealing my idea. It is so painful. You cannot do that to a brother. You cannot steal and get away with it."
Rayvanny's song Chuchuma has been released, and it has been gaining popularity in the music industry.
