Published on September 14, 2019, singer Bahati has faced backlash after enrolling his adopted son Morgan in a school deemed 'cheap' by many.

According to Bahati, the reason for this choice lies in Morgan's birth certificate, which is still pending.

'With all the kids, my favourite remains to be Morgan. Everytime I look at him, he reminds me of alot of things, I push him to be the best person he can be. That’s my best son,' Bahati said in an interview.

He further explained that he took Morgan in when he was very young and has stayed with him for over six years, but the child is still struggling to obtain the necessary documents, including a birth certificate.

'Even a school cannot take him without a birth certificate,' Bahati emphasized.

Comparing the school fees for his daughter Mueni Bahati, who attends Potter House, Bahati revealed that the charges were significantly higher than what he is used to.

He and his wife Diana Marua have been traveling extensively for vacations, leading fans to question why Morgan is not living a more luxurious lifestyle.
