For the salad, you'll need:
- 1 large iceberg lettuce, washed and shredded
- 1/2 pineapple (about 500g), peeled and cut into mini cubes
- 1 large cucumber, sliced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
For the steak, you'll need:
- 1kg T-bone steak, marinated with fresh pineapple extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic ginger paste
Instructions:
- Marinate the steak with the mentioned ingredients and pan-sear it for about 5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Remove from heat and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare the salad by mixing the pineapple, cucumber, and cayenne pepper (if using) in a bowl with a pinch of salt, vinegar, olive oil, and lemon juice.
- Arrange the iceberg lettuce on a platter, add the pineapple mixture in the center, and place the steak in the middle.
