Fuel Prices Hike: Motorists Face Higher Costs

On September 14, 2019, the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced a fuel price increase, bringing relief to none.

Super petrol and diesel prices rose by Sh0.28 and Sh2.44 per litre, respectively, while kerosene prices dropped by Sh3.31 per litre.

As of midnight, a litre of Super petrol in Nairobi will cost Sh112.81, diesel Sh103.04, and kerosene Sh100.64.

Just last month, fuel prices had decreased, with super petrol and diesel prices falling by Sh2.86 and Sh3.28 per litre, respectively, while kerosene prices increased by Sh1.98 per litre.
