Published on September 14, 2019, Kamene Goro, a former TV personality, has made a shocking confession about losing business deals due to revealing that she slept with 27 men.
According to Kamene, she was working at NRG radio in August last year when she revealed that she had slept with 27 men. The revelation led to her being criticized and mocked online for several days.
Despite maintaining that she was telling the truth, Kamene admits that she did not expect the backlash she received afterwards. She lost several business deals and was even fired by her employer, NRG radio.
"It was a difficult time in my life. I'm not saying I was expecting the backlash, but the consequences were severe," Kamene said in an interview with True Love in September.
Kamene also believes that if she were a man, the situation would have been different. "If I were a man, I would have been praised for my honesty. But as a woman, I was judged harshly," she said.
Joey Muthengi, a TV personality, also weighed in on the issue, saying, "Women are judged harshly for speaking the truth, but men are not held to the same standards."
Despite the backlash, Kamene remains unapologetic about her actions, saying that she was telling the truth and that she would do it again if given the chance.
