On September 14, 2019, Timmy Tdat made a bold statement in his music career by releasing not one, but two exciting projects: an EP called Bonke and his own merchandise, Pace Ya.
The Kasabuni artiste has always been known for his innovative approach to music, and this time was no exception. He hosted a launch event at the Clarence Hotel, where he showcased his EP and merchandise to the media and a select group of friends.
Guests at the event included notable celebrities such as Naiboi, Dufla Dilligon, Saint P, J Blessing, and Eric One Wash, who came to support Timmy Tdat's latest venture.
Speaking about his EP, Timmy Tdat revealed that it was just the beginning of new things, and that Bonke was a name his dad had coined for him. He shared that growing up, he was an altar boy at a Catholic church and was supposed to be a priest, but look at him now.
According to Timmy Tdat, the EP is all about his journey in life, and he has featured many artistes from East Africa in the songs, including major club bangers.
