On September 14, 2019, detectives made a grim discovery in Nairobi, Kenya, recovering the body of Tob Cohen, a Dutch billionaire who had been missing for nearly two months.

According to Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti, Cohen's body was found in a septic tank at his home in Kitisuru, Nairobi, on Friday.

Just a day earlier, on September 13, 2019, the prosecution pressed murder charges against Cohen's estranged wife, Sarah Wairimu, but the court directed that she undergo a mental health test before taking plea.

Wairimu, who is the prime suspect, is alleged to have killed Cohen on the night of July 19-20, 2019, within Nairobi County, jointly with others not before the court, according to the charge sheet.

Wairimu was arrested on August 28, 2019, and interrogated at the DCI headquarters. She was arraigned in court and detained for 12 days to allow the conclusion of investigations into Cohen's disappearance.

Cohen, a tour and travel tycoon who had lived in Kenya since 1987, went missing between July 19-20, 2019.
