Jose Mourinho on Man City and Liverpool's Dominance

Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has attributed Manchester City and Liverpool's dominance in the Premier League to their robust club structures.

According to Mourinho, the set-up of both clubs behind the scenes is what sets them apart from their English rivals. He cited the example of Manchester City, where the owner, Ferran Soriano, chief executive, Txiki Begiristain, director of football, Pep Guardiola, and his staff work in harmony to achieve their goals.

"When you look at City, for example: the owner, Ferran Soriano [chief executive], Txiki Begiristain [director of football], Pep Guardiola, Pep’s staff and then the players," Mourinho said. "This looks like harmony, empathy, chemistry, quality, sharing the same project, sharing the same ideas."

Mourinho also praised Liverpool's structure, saying that Jurgen Klopp is in a good position and is supported by people who think the same way. He believes that the performance of both teams is a result of their global approach and the fact that they have a strong structure in place.

"I think performance is globality. I think basically it is that," Mourinho said.

As of now, Liverpool are topping the Premier League table with 12 points from four matches, while Manchester City have 10 points from the same number of matches.
