DCI George Kinoti has issued a warning about a fugitive private investigator, Jane Wawira Mugo, who is wanted for various criminal activities, including robbery with violence.

According to the DCI, Mugo is a serial outlaw who has been involved in several cases of fraud and other serious crimes.

One of the most notable cases involving Mugo is a fraud case in which a Russian national, Vladimir Borisenko, was conned out of a significant amount of money, approximately Ksh22 million.

Despite being hired to help recover the stolen money, Mugo allegedly colluded with the thieves and cleared agents at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to share the loot.

As a result of her actions, the Russian national was forced to flee the country after receiving death threats from the people who were supposed to help him recover his money.

On September 13, 2019, the Weekly Citizen reported on this case, highlighting Mugo's alleged involvement in the fraud and her subsequent flight from justice.
