Kenyan-Tanzanian celebrity couple Tanasha Donna and Diamond Platnumz are expecting their first child together, a son who will soon be born. The power couple's fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their little one.
Here are five key facts about Tanasha and Diamond's son:
According to the Tanzania Citizenship Act of 1995, any child born within the borders of Tanzania on or after April 26, 1964, is granted Tanzanian citizenship, except for children of foreign diplomats.
Additionally, a person born outside Tanzania can enjoy the right to Tanzanian citizenship from birth if at least one parent is a Tanzanian citizen by birth or naturalization.
On the other hand, in Kenya, a person becomes a citizen by birth if their mother or father is a Kenyan citizen, or if they are found in Kenya when they are less than eight years old and the nationalities of them and their parents are not known.
It's worth noting that Tanasha's son will have an Islamic name, given his father's Muslim roots.
As for his heritage, Tanasha is a half cast with Italian and Kenyan roots, while Diamond is a Tanzanian with Muslim roots, making their son a half cast.
Lastly, it's no secret that Tanasha and Diamond's son might end up following in his parents' footsteps and becoming an artiste.
