The 2019/20 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season enters its second round this weekend, with seven matches lined up.

Former champions Tusker FC, who lost their opening match 5-3 to defending champions Gor Mahia, will face Mathare United at Machakos County Stadium on Saturday.

Tusker FC, seeking their first domestic title since 2016, have bolstered their squad by recruiting 12 new players, including Humphrey Mieno, Gorge 'BlackBerry' Odhiambo, and Hashim Sempala.

Under the tutelage of Robert Matano, the team has released 11 players, while Mathare United tactician Salim Ali will be relying on the services of seven of the newly acquired players in their quest for the premier league title.

Mathare United currently lie 12th in the league after an opening barren draw against Bandari.

Other fixtures lined up for Saturday include Nzoia hosting Sony Sugar, Ulinzi playing Sofapaka, and Posta Rangers battling Kakamega Homeboyz.
