On September 13, 2019, Coke Studio Africa 2019 unveiled the music video for “Tonight”, a collaboration between Kenya’s top rapper Khaligraph Jones and Nigeria’s Afrobeat legend Rudeboy.

The song was produced during the 2019 edition of the show that aired across Sub-Saharan Africa earlier in the year.

“Tonight” is a testament to the power of music in telling stories and bringing people together, said Andrew Alovi, IMC Manager – Coca-Cola.

Speaking about the video, Khaligraph Jones expressed his excitement and appreciation for Coke Studio, stating, “I love music and I have a lot of respect for Rudeboy given his vast experience in the African music scene. When I was asked to cover his music I was a little apprehensive, mostly because I would not be rapping. However, the outcome was a dope track that exceeded my expectations and I thank my fans for urging me on. I am grateful to Coke Studio for understanding this and giving us the resources to shoot and deliver an awesome video.”

The video, directed by Magic Mike, features a seamless blend of music and dance, showcasing the talents of both artists and leaving viewers excited to join in the party.
